More than 90 delegates from across Northern Ireland’s manufacturing sector gathered at the Ecos Hub, Ballymena on Wednesday 17 June for the inaugural MTF Network Lean Leadership Summit 2026.

The newly appointed Mayor of Mid and East Antrim, Alderman Thomas Gordon, has chosen Air Ambulance NI and Rural Support as the official Mayoral Charities for the duration of his term.

Seven residents from Mid and East Antrim have been recognised in the King’s Birthday Honours List, receiving awards for their outstanding contributions to education, community service, military history, the economy, humanitarian work and sport.
