Council has announced its upcoming Creative Industries Week, taking place from 16 February, as a borough‑wide celebration of creativity, innovation, and opportunity.

An official naming event for the Norman McBurney OBE Stand at Ballymena Showgrounds took place today (23 January 2026), marking a significant civic tribute to one of the Borough’s most prominent business figures.

We are calling on residents, businesses and community groups to share their views on its Performance Improvement Plan for April 2026 to March 2027.

Council is supporting the NI Executive to roll out the Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG) Strategy, including funding opportunities for organisations in the borough through the new EVAWG Change Fund.
