Ballymena is marking a remarkable milestone in 2026, celebrating 400 years of rich history, vibrant communities and shared stories. To honour this special anniversary, we have an exciting programme of events for residents and visitors alike.

The Construction & Scaffolding Academy is now open for applications, offering Mid and East Antrim residents the opportunity to gain skills, accreditation and access employment within the sector.

An exciting new opportunity for residents of Mid and East Antrim starts in June 2026 with the introduction of the ‘Craft to Commerce’ programme. It is designed to support hobby-craft enthusiasts to develop their products into genuine business opportunities.

The next free Employability, Health and Wellbeing event will take place from 10am-12 noon on Thursday 28 May 2026 in Larne Town Hall.
