Discover Chichester’s Carrickfergus

Carrickfergus town has been transformed into a digital 17th Century town in the popular game Minecraft.

The Museum worked with STEM Aware to create this rich games-based learning experience.

Using historical maps and documents Carrickfergus has been recreated in the mid-1600s.

Minecraft has millions of users worldwide.

Working with STEM Aware to develop this project, the museum tapped into this opportunity to create exciting learning experiences for younger audiences.
