Tuesday 6 January UPDATE:

As we experience continued disruption across the borough, we ask you keep your bins at the kerbside until collected.

Monday 5 January 2026:

Due to the current weather conditions, Ballymena bin collection on Monday 5 January 2026 will no longer take place.

Residents are advised to present their bins for collection from 7am Tuesday 6 January and to leave these kerbside until they are collected – this may be later in the week due to the weather conditions.

  • Black bins not collected on Thursday 1 January will be collected on Thursday 8 January.
