Get ready, get set, go Gobbins!

Renowned as one of the most beautiful and dramatic tourist attractions in Europe, the Gobbins near Islandmagee is a spectacular coastal walk situated along the Causeway Coastal Route in NI.

Weaving its way along the basalt cliffs of the famous Causeway Coast, you will walk across suspension bridges, through tunnels and along pathways in an up close and personal experience of the spectacular coastline. Travelling along the path, visitors will hear about the geology and biodiversity of the area, as well as the history attached to the location.

Visitors from around the world flock to the acclaimed tourist attraction each year.  Internationally revered, The Gobbins has welcomed guests from countries including Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, Spain – with over 10% of its visitors coming from America.

Online booking is now open for the summer. Booking in advance is essential to guarantee a place on a tour, which run every half hour.  There is also an exhibition area, café, gift shop and virtual reality experience within the visitor centre.

This exhilarating and unique coastal adventure - which takes visitors through rugged caves and tunnels, along winding stairways, over tubular bridges and below sea level - has drawn tourists in their droves to this wonderful part of NI.

“The Gobbins is rightly recognised as a world class attraction and this summer we look forward to welcoming visitors from all over to Mid and East Antrim and the Causeway Coastal Route. I highly recommend it - It truly is an experience not to be missed!

The 1.2 mile-long cliff walk is one of the most ambitious engineering projects ever seen in Northern Ireland and was originally built in the early 20th century.
