Brilliant sunshine draws a crowd at Larne Broadway Beats!

The sun was shining on residents and visitors all afternoon at Mid and East Antrim Borough Council’s Broadway Beats event in Larne on Saturday 15 June.
Organised as part of Council’s events programme - designed to drive footfall and economic growth within the Borough - the crowd enjoyed a wide variety of musical performances and family-friendly entertainment.
The lineup boasted performances from tutors and students representing Larne music school, The Music Yard, as well as Irish/Scottish duo McGarrity/MacPherson who delighted the audience with unique renditions of both traditional and modern popular tunes.
Keeping eventgoers entertained offstage were Streetwise Community Circus with a circus skills workshop, as well as Friendly Faces Kids Entertainment, who led some musical arts and crafts and a face-painting station.
Spectacular walkabout performers from In Your Space Circus were Paddy Picasso, the Bubble Fairy and the Stilt Butterfly! Thanks to Inspire ME Entertainment, the event was also attended by some very popular superheroes!
