Re-imagining Carrickfergus Exhibition

The CineArch Studio exhibition showcases the creative work of architecture and design students at Queen’s University Belfast who have re-imagined the town of Carrickfergus.

The exhibition features the adaptive reuse of historical buildings, urban design proposals for the town centre, and experimental film projects, creating a narrative that bridges Carrickfergus's rich history with its sustainable future.

Through a blend of architecture and cinematic storytelling, the projects integrate sustainability, materiality, and atmospheric spatial qualities.

This unique collaboration of the MSc Advanced Architectural Design and PgCert Cinematic Architecture programmes with Council highlights real-world challenges and aspirations for the town's renewal.
