Photographs, videos and drawings of the marina from its conception back in the early 1980’s through to present day.

Coffee morning for berth holders past and present, and all members of the public with an interest in local history - drop in for a cuppa and a sweet treat and chat to local sailing legends.

Live entertainment from Carrick’s CWA Brass Band Children’s entertainment by Friendly Faces – face painting, balloon modelling, arts & crafts.

Sailing displays and races (weather dependant)

Belfast Lough Sailability (disabled sailing group):
Hawk sailing yachts and various motorboats with specialist adaptations including wheelchair access to allow all abilities to take part in sailing and cruising.

Carrickfergus Sea Cadets:
Champ & RidgiFlex motorboats, Trinity rowing boats and Quest dinghies.

Toppers, Lasers, Hansas and RS 400 dinghies

International One Meter (IOM) model local club boats competing among themselves and with visiting models.

Parade of Sail
Watch as sailing yachts, motorboats, ribs and speedboats exit the marina and cruise around Belfast Lough.

10am-4pm
RNLI lifeboat will be visiting (callout dependant).
Photo opportunities and merchandise available, all donations welcome.
Local tour guides will offer themed walking tours of the area (either discounted or complimentary).
Bookings for throughout the day can be made at the Marina Reception from 10am.

Prizegiving and social evening with live music – food and drinks available on site.

The Carrickfergus Tall Ship Project Group will give a talk on the Schooner ‘Result’ which is currently on display at the Ulster Transport Museum, and their hopes to bring it home to Carrickfergus Harbour.
