As part of the Carrickfergus Revisited Conference weekend 6-9 September, we are offering this fantastic free workshop!

HERoNI DfC (Historic Environment Record of NI) archaeologist Bronagh Patricia Murray will deliver this hands-on illustration workshop.

A brief overview of the history of archaeological illustration will be presented, before participants are given access to a selection of replica and genuine artefacts while learning the techniques archaeologists use to create detailed illustrations.

Templates will be provided on the day allowing each participant to complete their own illustrations using techniques learned during the workshop.

Age 12+ Suitable for all drawing abilities, all material drawing materials will be provided.
