Performance Improvement Plan 2023 to 2024

The Local Government Act (NI) 2014 places a general duty on Councils to “make arrangements to secure continuous improvement in the exercise of its functions”, and includes a statutory requirement to publish a Performance Improvement Plan by 30 June each year. Within it, Council must set one or more Improvement Objectives and have appropriate arrangements in place to achieve them.

Our Performance Improvement Plan sets out six Improvement Objectives for 2023 to 2024. It explains what we hope to achieve, how we plan to do it and how our citizens will be better off as a result.
