T567 / BALLYMACVEA LANDFILL SITE LABORATORY ANALYSIS SERVICES

Overview

Tenders are invited from experienced and competent laboratories to provide laboratory analysis services on water quality to Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for a period of 2 years with the possibility for an additional 2 x 12 months based on project performance.

The introduction of the Landfill Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003, and the issuing of Ballymacvea Landfill Site with a modified Waste Management Licence (WML) have led to an increase in the environmental monitoring requirements at the above site and under the WML there is a requirement to undertake analysis of groundwater, leachate and surface water in accordance with the tender specification.
