T600/CA ICT SERVICES FOR NEW 3G PITCH ROLL OUT AT SHOWGROUNDS

The Client invites tenders to provide the service for an ICT in relation to new 3G pitch rollout at Ballymena showgrounds for RIBA stages 2-6.
The project is for the provision of an Integrated Consultancy Team (ICT) who must work with the Capital Works Manager, Capital Works Team or his designate to ensure all duties required under this appointment are being carried out to the satisfaction of the Employer.
The project shall be responsible for the design and project management of the construction of a new enclosed 3G Pitches with associated drainage and floodlighting at Ballymena showgrounds.
The works shall include the following:- The design of 4Nr. fully enclosed 3G pitches. The 3G carpet depth to be approved for soccer use, the 4nr, pitches to be a mix of 5 aside and 7 aside facilities.
- Provision of a modular storage area
- The appointed ICT should develop designs and cost associated with a dual fibre carpet (a combination of monofilament and fibrillated fibres) and a more sustainable infill material option as directed by the EU, microplastics are to be banned in synthetic pitches from September 2031. The Council will choose the most cost-effective design.
- All drainage is to be jetted and CCTV to ensure good working condition. Any failing drainage to be replaced.
- New approved shockpads, 3G surface & infill
- New external Fencing & gates
- Contractor 3-month maintenance period from date handover.
- New floodlighting for each 5aside / 7 aside pitch that can be controlled independently.
Provision for bins, signage, boot cleaning & goal equipment.

KERBSIDE MULTIMATERIAL COLLECTION AND RECYCLING SERVICE

Under the terms of the contract, the employer invites Tenderers to provide the service for the kerbside collection and treatment services for recyclable materials.
The Tenderer will provide a comprehensive collection, treatment, and onward sale arrangements for a range of dry recyclable materials, which must include as a minimum at the commencement of the contract: paper; cardboard; metal tins and cans; plastic bottles, tubs, trays and pots; textiles; tetrapak®; glass bottles and jars and aluminium foil.
The contract is for approximately 46,640 dwellings in the Ballymena and Carrickfergus areas.

Q1474/AD BALLYMENA Street Art/ Mural Project

Mid and East Antrim Borough Council requires the services of an individual or company to organise and deliver the Ballymena street art/mural project.
The Ballymena Street Art / Mural project will consist of the delivery of a range of 3 street art/mural works of varying sizes, as part of an ongoing programme of work by MEABC to transform the town centre and encouraging the wider regeneration of the area.
This procurement will comprise the provision of specialist services relating to the co-designing, costing, and delivery of public artwork in Ballymena.
The contract will include for the supply of all materials and labour required to deliver the artworks as proposed, and any delivery costs, travel, and accommodation preferably in the Ballymena Area.
It is proposed that the artwork installation will be carried out over a maximum period of 6 weeks.
The project is open to an individual artist or group of artists working as a collaboration.
The outcome will be 3 street art / mural works of varying size which will build on the street art offering already in the town and contribute to the regeneration of the town.
