Mid and East Antrim Borough Council Policing and Community Safety Partnership - Supply of Warden Personnel to Perform Duties in Relation to Town Centre and Rural / Urban Community Safety Wardens Project.
The overall aim of this project is to reduce the incidence of anti-social behaviour and fear of crime within the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council area, both by 5%.
The total budget available is approximately £78,000 for the period 1st April 2025 to 31 March 2026.
The budget will be allocated between Ballymena Town Centre, Ballymena rural area, Carrickfergus and Larne.

T685/AD Cranny Falls – Stabilisation Works

The Contract is for the provision of a Principal Contractor to carry out slope stabilisation, remediation works to handrails, existing bridge structures and kingpost retention structure. All details of the proposals are shown on the design intent drawings.
Slope stabilisation works are to include removal of loose debris on the slope surface, installation of rock anchors, installation rockfall mesh and removal of tree and vegetation on the slope, to include tree felling.
All handrails along the route are to be removed and replaced as per design intent drawings. The existing balustrade and decking on both bridges are to be removed and replaced. The kingpost retention structure is to be removed and replaced, this will require temporary retention of the slope.
The works are proposed to be undertaken between 1st September 2025 and 28th February 2026 so as to not impact breeding season.
This contract aims to appoint a Principal Contractor to manage specialist contractors to carry out rock stabilisation and geotechnical aspects of the project.
Contract period – 20 weeks

T681/AD Larne Cemetery – Phase 1
Status: Closed Closing Date: Wednesday 12 March 2025
The Contract is for the provision of a municipal cemetery to include new burial plots, infrastructure and foundations to support the development of future staff facilities including public toilets, maintenance/operations/storage buildings. Site infrastructure including service yard and operational facilities, associated M&E installation, new right-hand turning lane access from Old Glenarm Road, parking provision and associated landscaping. Scheme proposals involve the development of the cemetery with associated drainage culminating in attenuation within the north-west portion of the site and discharge to the adjacent watercourse.
Proposed Works include but are not limited to site clearance, reduced excavation, ground improvement, infrastructure including realignment of roads, junction, car park, access roads, hard standings, kerbings, footpaths, hard and soft landscaping. Boundary treatment works including fencing, gates, miscellaneous concrete foundations, directional signage and road marking. -
T677/AD ICT FOR M&E REMEDIAL WORKS AT CARRICKFERGUS AMPHITHEATRE AND THE BRAID BALLYMENA

This consultancy appointment aims to deliver the complete project as outlined below from RIBA Stage 1-6. In the first instance consultants are requested to provide specialist knowledge and detailed cost information up to RIBA Stage 2. This will assist Council to determine the financial viability of the project and will inform the decision making process around capital expenditure v operational expenditure over the lifecycle of the investment. -
T665/AD SELECT LIST FOR FLEET REPAIRS, INSPECTIONS, PARTS AND SPARES TO SMALL + LARGE VEHICLES

Mid and East Antrim Borough Council would like to appoint contractors for a select list for the provision of a fleet maintenance and inspection service to support the in-house vehicle maintenance provision. The contractors will be expected to perform service delivery either on their own site or where appropriate on the relevant Council site.
This contract will include provisions for Operator Licence preventive maintenance inspections (PMI). It should be noted that the supply and fitting of tyres, hydraulic hose replacement and the supply of sundries and accessories does not form part of this tender. Council also has the right to use contractors outside the contract to carry out warranty work or servicing/inspection within the vehicle warranty period,
