MEActive Summer Schemes

During July and August a number of 5 day schemes will operate in Ballymena, Carrickfergus and Larne. 

These schemes will operate between Monday – Friday and will be open to children aged between 6-12 years of age. 

Please note that the cost is per 5 day scheme and spaces are limited.

MEActive Summer Camps

This includes a number of 1 day activity camps across MEA.

The programme is open to children aged between 6-12 years of age with the opportunity to avail of 2 bookable slots either a morning OR afternoon.

Please note spaces are limited.

Children may book into both morning and afternoon slots but must be collected by parents and returned after lunch (children will not be supervised between 12 -1pm).

MEActive Adapted Camps

This will consist of 2 day camps in Ballymena / Carrickfergus / Larne. 

The programme is open to children living with additional or special needs aged between 6-18 years of age with the opportunity to avail of morning bookable slots.

MEActive Community Camps

This includes a number of 1 day activity camps across MEA.

The programme is open to children aged between 6-12 years of age with the opportunity to avail of 2 bookable slots either a morning OR afternoon.

MEAqua Summer Intensive Lessons

These lessons are for swimmers ages 3 and above in all three Leisure Centres from 9am - 11.30am (1 x 30 minutes, approx, class per day).

Full schedule will be available once booking goes live.

Classes will be for Pre-School lessons (aged 3 and 4), Beginner lessons (aged 4+), Improvers (levels 2 and 3), Advanced Improvers (level 4 and 5), Advanced (levels 6+).

MEActive Gymnastics Summer Camp

These lessons are for gymnasts ages 3 and above in Carrickfergus Amphitheatre from 9am - 1pm.

Classes will include Kindergym (ages 3 and 4), Gym Club (ages 5 and 6), Ages 7 and 8, Ages 9+ for boys and girls.

Please Note:

• Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. 
  
  Please apply early to avoid disappointment.

• Please ensure participants wear appropriate clothing for activities outdoors including footwear and you are advised to apply sun screen before arriving.

• All activities are subject to revision, addition or cancellation should unforeseen circumstances arise, including weather conditions.
