Carnfunnock Country Park
Carnfunnock Country Park is packed full of exciting and unusual attractions to see and do, with over 191 hectares of mixed woodland, colourful gardens, walking trails and coastline, not forgetting its spectacular panoramic views of the Antrim Coast and North Channel.
The Country Park is open daily:
Spring / Summer 9am - dusk (8.30pm July - August)
Autumn / Winter 9am - 4pm (Closed Christmas Day)
Certain Park activities are seasonal and weather permitting.
If the weather is bad, please telephone before your journey to avoid disappointment.
NOTICE
Northern Ireland Electricity will be on site at Carnfunnock Country Park to address power cables / poles.
This will mean that electricity will be off all day on Wednesday 4 December 2024 and toilet facilities will be reduced.
On Friday 6 December 2024 the main entrance will be closed all day for vehicle access to facilitate work on the poles along the main road entrance.
Public can still access the park on foot from Drains Bay or the entrance at the Coast Road.

Attractions open all year round:
The following attractions are open all year round 9am - dusk (latest 8pm from June to September). Closed Christmas Day.
- Walled garden
- BBQ/Picnic sites (please note bookable BBQ areas only available March - September)
- Forest Walks, Orienteering, Wildlife Garden, Biodiversity Trail, Heritage features and Public Toilets
- Adventure Playground
Please note: Attractions may be closed to public if there are icy or snowy ground conditions.
Attractions open from March / April to October / November:
Carnfunnock Maze
Open from the first May Bank Holiday until the end of September from 9am - dusk (7.30pm July and September).
Please note:
- Attractions may be closed to public in wet/icy weather or if there are slippery ground conditions.
- Access will be restricted during events.
